Documenting the Puget Sound's maritime history.

Home of Seattle's historic Museum ships. Located directly behind MOHAI, the Museum of History and Industry, these ships tell the story of Seattle.

The permanent members of our wharf include:

1922 Steamship Virginia V
1889 Tugboat Arthur Foss
1904 Lightship Swiftsure
1909 Fireboat Duwamish.

Along with many other visiting ships that drop by our wharves.

Few things are more nerve wracking than attempting to fit a 125’ steamship into a harbor meant for vessels less than half that size. It would’ve been impossible if not for the small fleet of inflatable boats that acted as tiny tugs and portable fenders.

Thank you to the Harbourmasters and everyone in Port Townsend for a wonderful time at the wooden boat’s festival!
